Hi, I’m Caro.

I’m a fashion stylist and content creator based in Germany, and wardrobexplorer is where I think out loud about more conscious choices in fashion—not from a place of having it all figured out, but from somewhere much more honest than that.

I started this blog in 2020 because I wanted to pull back the curtain on the fashion industry. I still want that. But after a few years of living with these questions—and working in retail—about what I buy, why I buy it, and what it costs beyond the price tag, I’ve realized the conversation I actually want to have is bigger than brand reports and supply chains.

It’s about the mental load of trying to dress consciously on a real budget. Knowing what actually fits your body and your life. The capsule wardrobe I’m still figuring out. The guilt of buying something from fast fashion and thinking about it for days.
